Not trying to push anybody here, I just want to keep it on everyone's minds. I consider myself responsible for the marketing, now this is some 'brand awareness' or so. I was hoping to involve more Shadows than just the 'usual suspects' this time, and while it started out well, I know it often fails to attract people for long

Mostly non-personal, not very detailed info. Marked with ... where more info should go. Some time somebody has to check this for errors.

11 years agoI've been reading the last one and think not much is missing. Of course it needs to be pimped with the medal-graphics and maybe a nicer timeline when set online.
Will read again and think about it, but great work, Jarod!
This is progressing nicely i see...
a few things i would like to point out as possible changes/ammendements:
Neocron has been by all intents and purposes, discontinued.
Eve - Online has already been tried but the game is simply missing something to keep people interested for long. Most likely the communety. If we had migrated there in force we could make it work but as a solo prospect it gets boring fast and coprs are so greed driven that joining a corp of strangers just becomes too much like work.
The point of all this is just to say it shouldnt be listed as a "Future candidate"
I dont remember the triumvirate idea ever actualy failing. Tho i never realy saw the point of it its probably harsh to say that it failed.
Edit: rant removed, noone realy pays attention anyway so theres little point.
11 years agoDo you remember when Neocron and EVE were closed?
Neocron FS officialy died out when version 2 launched i beleive. Damm shame too, that game has some great potential, short sighted developers and shite communety but great potential game wise
Eve is more tricky, you cant realy close what you never truly started. Think Ferret setup FS when it launched along with a couple others from the AO crew but they never took it seriously to the point of trying to make it work (they were still hooked on AO and treated Eve as a secondary game they would log into ocasionaly) in the end it fizzled out completely. Not realy because of any one person but mostly because you need to put something like 3 months worth of work into that game before you can truly start enjoying it.
11 years agoAlso, because of the scale of the game (in size and scope) and we didnt have a singular forum to start with... Communication between the FS Eve players never took-off, by the time a forum was set up (Can't remember for the life of me who did that now)... it was practically over for FS in Eve. - Arch.
